❚❚❚❚❚ IC.
■ PHYSICAL AFFECTION:
He'll be surprised, but sure! Anything closer than a hug would probably get pretty awkward pretty fast, though....

■ PHYSICAL VIOLENCE:
Fair game, generally! You'll want to hit me up if a proper fight might be afoot.

Otherwise, though the intention and ideal would be there, Obi-Wan would ultimately not choose to die for another character, should there be high likelihood of repercussions for his absence back home. Killing for another character, on the other hand, is highly dependent on who or what he's killing, and the circumstances therein/evidence available that nonlethal elimination won't do the job just as well--Jedi principle is really picky about who you can kill and who you can't, especially unarmed individuals (although they are not overly averse to letting others do that in their place, depending). And mutilation of a dead recruit's body would be entirely out of the question, unless the circumstances are extraordinary.

■ RELATIONSHIPS:

Jedi code enforces strong discouragement of passionate relationships anyway, but Obi-Wan also has astoundingly bad luck with people he loves (no like literally three different ladies have died in his arms shortly after confessions of feelings and let's not even get started on his best friend it's really bad) so!! Yeah. Unlikely. And probably for the better.

■ MENTAL INFORMATION:
Deceptively calm on the outside layers; on a general basis it's extremely stable and serene in there, to an unusual degree--the ideal Jedi's default mindset, instilled over a lifetime's worth of training. Obi-Wan's just as capable of being unsettled or confused or angry as anybody else, though, just in smaller and more controlled bursts. And under it all is a constant and perpetual undercurrent of mourning.

Of note, however! The Jedi are fairly well-trained in mental attack and defense themselves, as the Force lends them limited telepathic ability. If Obi-Wan notices that something's poking around in there, he may be inclined to apply shielding methods powered by the Force--he's done it before, and he'll do it again if need be. Hit me up if you'd like your character to dig around in there, and we can discuss!

■ MEDICAL INFORMATION:
Tip-top shape! He is vertebrate, needs to breathe just as much as the next guy, feels hunger, and has ten fingers and two eyes--basically, he's about as baseline human as you can get in a space-age environment, and there's nothing unusual to be found on a medical level unless you count midichlorians....lol midichlorians. Don't let the baggy robes deceive; he's quite fit, more than capable of being athletic (Jedi training involves about as much physical exercise as it does focusing of the mind), and does possess a small variety of scars (blaster burns, impact scrapes, etc), most of them hidden by clothing.

■ FAVORITE SENSORY INPUT:
He overtly favors none of the basic five, actually--Jedi are implicitly trained to not be too reliant on senses, and although they are quite useful, Obi-Wan would adjust to the loss of any of them in equal measure of time. However, he'd be pretty genuinely lost without his connection to the Force....

■ OFFENSIVE SUBJECTS & TRIGGERS:
A few, yes. Not debilitating, but of the emotional and psychological variety:
-Mentioning Anakin Skywalker at all is highly likely to garner a startled flinch at the moment, the way nothing else can; pressing further in any capacity (especially implying that he's still alive/that it's not Obi-Wan's fault he turned out as bad as he did/that there's still a chance to save him/etc) will almost certainly lead to some very bad reactions.
-Threatening Luke Skywalker in any capacity, on the other hand, is guaranteed to earn an extremely hostile reaction.
-Don't talk shit about Qui-Gon Jinn. Just...don't do that.
-A hypothetical, but extremely likely to occur: if Sheev Palptatine were to ever appear in the CDC in any capacity at this present time, Obi-Wan would immediately and automatically go for attempted murder. Full stop. And promptly be epically destroyed because hahahaha fighting Darth Sidious BUT ANYWAY-- If you want to show him a face that instantly pisses him off this would be the one, and he would probably need somebody actively holding him back.

He has not told anyone else about these issues, and will generally steer away from divulging hard details on any of these people unless very specifically asked.

■ REBELLIOUS TENDENCIES:
His endgame goal is to dismantle the CDC from the inside. This is highly unlikely to change anytime soon. Although his current awareness of just how delicate his position is has left Obi-Wan extremely cautious and subtle about how he goes about it, necessarily, and he's currently taking great pains to not be too open about it.

■ ADDITIONAL PERMISSIONS: Because the Force is ridiculous and so is Obi-Wan, there is a player-input permissions post here addressing some aspects of his Force abilities as well! Feel free to take a look.

■ PREFERRED CONTACT: [plurk.com profile] shadeofblue or PM to this character journal!
■ BACKTAGGING: Yes pls...my limit is generally month-old threads, but even then I may make exceptions.
■ THREADHOPPING: Sure!
■ FOURTHWALLING: ABSOLUTELY if you have nerd characters that would be inclined! The CDC's fourth-wall filters will just have him wondering whether you're swearing at him to such an extent that the translators need to censor you...
■ ACTION VS PROSE: Either is fine! Fair warning that I will likely tldr regardless, but never feel a need to match me! I'm just really rambly it's a problem.....
■ OFFENSIVE SUBJECTS & TRIGGERS: None for me! If ever in doubt just toss me a line.
■ YES/NO SCENARIOS:
NO
-Highly detailed gore/invasive torture (electroshock is fine, slow slicing open not so much)
-Sexual violence

YES
Pretty much anything else not listed in NO! Fighting, injuries up to and including broken bones, exceptional emotional torment, etc etc

MAYBE
Amputation or similarly highly-impacting bodily injury is something I'd like to be run by first, for certain. Apart from that, nothing stands out at the top of my head, but if in doubt I am always open to contact and questions.

■ ANYTHING ELSE? Pretend there's a star wars joke here somewhere idk it's too early for this
